About Us

We're Lee and Pat Wels who come from Oregon's beautiful Rogue Valley.  When we first got the call to serve a year mission as a senior couple we were more than a bit nervous.  But it's been something we've always planned on doing.  And when the Lord calls, you muster up all your faith and do what He asks.

Our unexpected call to serve a mission gives new meaning to Nephi's words in the Book of Mormon:
"And it came to pass that I, Nephi, said unto my father: I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them."
And now, here we are in beautiful Bandon Oregon!

Back home we've got wonderful family and friends supporting us.

There's Lee's Son Todd
and his wife Amy and our beautiful granddaughter Mary Elizabeth:

Lee's daughter Kerry and Chris:
